Sugar Heels

Sugar Heels ( aka The Queen Of Deejays) begins to discover its talent as designer of wardrobe when she decided to organize her own spectacles within her nightlife work, although already being a girl of barely 10 years of age she used to draw voluptuous girls wearing epoch dresses and original hats.

Natural born creative with an also innate sensibility to appreciate all the artistic things without ignoring any detail, she has felt always attracted by the fantastic world of the movies and especially for everything referring to the design of wardrobe and atrezzo. Many of her designs for Nightthings coulb be classified in a category which was between the most purely sexy wardrobe thought for the night shows and a more theatrical or film character. Of course, the productions for the theatre or cinema are more complex, expensive and enormously more detailed, but if we observe well the outlines and photographs of some of her suits exposed in the galleries of this section, we will appreciate how far the imagination of this artist can arrive.

Dedicated not only to an only type of clothes inside this section (her designs can be seen on all the sections of “Le Corsetterie”), we emphasize nevertheless her particular collection of exclusive “corsettes” and the special gallery dedicated to the Pin Up style, having occupied this kind of fashion always a privileged place in her closet.

Angel Cabezuelo

Angel Cabezuelo is one of the most promising artists in Barcelona. Fleeing labels and of all the paraphernalia that wraps the Fashion world, Angel has excelled always by the authenticity of his designs and the peculiar characteristic of endowing them of a breeze that speaks us clear and directly about his great personality and imagination.

Excellent visionary and possessor of a brave, smiling and open character in its proposal and gifted of the marvellous insanity that wraps the true artists, this Dalí of the Fashion is perhaps still a diamond in the rough that already begins to shine with own light.

He has collaborated in different events related to the Fashion world as the “Passarel.la Gaudí” or the BAC festival (Barcelona Art Contemporani) where exposed his designs in different parades celebrated at the “MACBA” (Contemporary Art Museum of Barcelona) and at the “Convent de Sant Agustí” situated at the area of “El Born” also located in Barcelona.

Being felt always attracted by the nightlife world and how much it has of artistic the clubbing scene, Angel has collaborated for events as the Love Parade in Berlin where dressed to several of the performers participating in the parade.

At present arranges his work as stylist in photoshootings for magazines like “Carácter” or “Tendencias” with a direct participation in various projects of Nightthings, uniting talent with Rossana (Sugar Heels) in the design of exclusive wardrobe (all available on Le Corsetterie) and designing great part of the costumes for the different parties and events that promotes the label.

Hairdressers, makeup artists, stylists, and above all creatives, is what you can see in this section.  Authentic artists of the image, who in many cases dominate perfectly the good taste at the moment to assess in wardrobe, as well as the art of the makeup or the hairdressing.

In fact, we could have included these artists on our section “creatives” although we prefer to separate and distinguish these artists from the rest, grouping here only those whose works are related to the world of the aesthetics or beauty (magazines,theatre and TV, fashion shows…) in a more direct and specific way. 

Searching always for the best, Nightthings selects with special care the greatest professionals, to offer an optimum result, trying to fulfil the wishes of all our clients.

Signing as Maria De La Muerte when she carries out more independent works and like M of Maria for firms of renown, this full woman of rabid talent begins her own professional journey in the nightlife.  And is working as a performer that she discovers her private style and the way she understands her work today.

In her curriculum she counts on some of the most important trademarks in the fashion world:  “Shiseido”, “Stila”, “El Corte Inglés” or “Yves Saint Laurent” are some of them.  Also she has collaborated in the fair “Cosmobelleza” and in the famous “Passarel.la Gaudí”, both events taking place in Barcelona.  The contributions with different theatre productions, movies and television also abound in the meteoric career of an artist of the makeup that already harvests large successes as her participation in the film “The Perfume”, film based on the best-seller of Patrick Süskind and which has been filmed in part in the city of Barcelona and where showed once more her great gift making up the actors with shocking effects.

Because of the direct relation of our web with the nocturnal leisure, we name here the festivals “Decadance” (Space) and “Recycle Your Mind” (Amnesia), both prestigious clubs of the island of Ibiza. 

She has participated in several contests of Body Painting obtaining the first place in some of them as in the case of “Camelarte” sponsored by “Camel” to national level in Spain and that had its closure in “El Poble Espanyol” (Barcelona). 

Qualified in professional makeup and characterization, including special effects in the school “Stick-Art-Studio” (www.stickartstudio.com), obtained the best grade of her course.  She has carried out several contributions with different fashionable publications and/or glamour photography, as in the case of the magazine “Playboy” and frequent works for the photographer from Barcelona specialized in Fetish, Marc Torrent.  Since she works with our label, Maria is one of the indispensable artists in our festivals and one of the makeup artists that we recommend without doubting for our photo-shootings.
